

Who We Are?

Chaitanya Rural Development Society is a registered non-profitable organization grounded in social values for the care of the weaker sections of the society and to serve them without any consideration of caste or creed. It acts as a catalyst and convener of social justice and development. Chaitanya aims at the upliftment and sustainable development of rural poor, empowerment of women, backward communities through education, health, environment, agriculture, horticulture, watershed development, forestry, social awareness programs and community-based rehabilitation programs. It was founded in 1996 and is inspired by good leadership. It has been promoting its mission through a number of programs since its establishment for the realization of its vision.
The Organization expertise in Farmers Producers Organization(FPO) and linkages to Women Self Help Groups(SHGs). It has well experience staff, board and advisers. Our Present Partners are NABARD, NABFINS, NABKISAN, NABCONS, NABFOU, GoK- Department of Agriculture, Horticulture, RDPR, ICICI and Dhwani Foundation. Active member in FEVOURD-K, VYK, VANI and NAFPO. The organisation is certified with Guide Star, Give India, Global giving and CAF.

At Chaitanya Rural Development Society, our mission is to serve and uplift the disadvantaged communities by promoting social justice, equality, and sustainable development. We are dedicated to empowering individuals, especially from marginalized backgrounds, by providing access to resources, education, and opportunities for growth. Through our work, we aim to protect and enrich the biodiversity of our environment while fostering a more inclusive and resilient society.
Objectives
The objectives of Chaitanya Rural Development Society are focused on the upliftment and sustainable development of rural poor, empowerment of women, and support for backward and minority communities through comprehensive education, health, and social awareness programs. We aim to promote sustainable agricultural practices, conserve watersheds, and preserve soil, forestry, and biodiversity. Our initiatives also include providing community-based rehabilitation, fostering social awareness, and advocating for gender equality and social justice. Through these efforts, we strive to create an equitable, empowered, and resilient society that thrives while respecting the environment.
